Check the Door Before the Floor Plan
Measure overall height, including roof-mounted air conditioners, antennas, and other attachments. Measure width with mirrors and projections, and length with the hitch or rear carrier. Confirm the actual clear opening of the specific unit.
404 publishes 14-foot overhead doors, 20-foot ceilings, and 30 × 60 or 40 × 60 layouts. These specifications do not guarantee clearance for every RV. Door hardware and interior improvements may reduce usable space.
Make the Approach Part of Your Tour
A trailer that fits inside still needs room to turn, back in, and disconnect. Discuss a suitable way to check the approach with the team, including how your tow vehicle would maneuver.
Allow working space for walking, opening compartments, and accessing storage. Do not assume slide-outs can be extended or that a particular unit includes RV hookups, a dump station, or charging equipment; those are not advertised standard amenities.
Storage for a Vehicle You Own
404 is a garage ownership property, not a campground. Overnight accommodation and camping are not advertised uses. Confirm storage rules, battery and fuel requirements, utilities, and insurance before purchasing.
For a single short season, a rental may be a better fit. For recurring storage and enough equipment to use a larger garage, compare the full cost of ownership with an equivalent indoor rental.
