Look Beyond the Word “Secure”
Gated access and 24/7 camera surveillance are advertised property features. They do not establish on-site guards, individual alarm monitoring, or a guarantee against theft or damage.
During a tour, ask how entry credentials work, how visitors are handled, and whom owners contact about an access issue. Review the garage door, pedestrian door, lighting, and the way you would secure valuable tools inside the unit.
Match the Space to What You Store
A boat and trailer need a workable approach. A collection needs enough room to move without damaging adjacent vehicles. Business equipment may need shelving and a layout that keeps daily loading straightforward.
Heat protects your ability to use the garage in cold weather, but it does not establish full climate control. Ask about the requirements of anything moisture-sensitive before choosing a unit.
Private Access, Clear Responsibilities
404 does not allow customer visits or public access. Arrange a sales tour with the team; do not assume the gate is open to walk-in visitors.
Ownership also means understanding your responsibilities. Request the association documents and insurance requirements, then discuss coverage for your vehicles, equipment, and improvements with your insurer. Confirm what the association covers and what you need to arrange yourself.
